I'm open to suggestions for a new lappy, im getting a new one cuz my old one was also outdated, like i bought an Adobe CS3 master collection for my lappy, and it was all 'error, not compatible with this model of computer...' arg.... so im buying a new one with higher RAM, grafix card, and a crapload of new programs for it.
So to the question, any good computers out there i should look for? brand? etc..?

I'm using teh Dell XPS M1210. it's really good, sturdy, and can handle all internet games I've played to date. can't comment on the grafix card since I have only one CD based game and that's oblivion so no mortal portable machine could handle that.

No, I own One HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computer) which we keep all our television shows, movies, music and pictures on which is hooked up to 2 Terabytes of Hard Drives which me an Dad ordered the parts and made, 1 iMac 20in with full iLife, Bootcamp (boots it into Windows XP Ultimate) and Microsoft Office '07 plus a Aiptek 12in 2048dpi pressure sense Tablet, iBook Laptop, School Toshiba Portege A200 (my piece of cr** laptop) and 3 basic dual-screen PC Desktop Computers for Dad's Autocad. So I know a little about what computers are the best for what things.
The HTPC as the name suggests is excellent for music and multimedia, my laptop is a special school model and not for commercial sale and really isn't even powerful enough to run DragonFable without lag, Now the Macs I have installed a full CS3 package onto and I love them. I've moved the Mac into my room despite numerous protests and removals from my parents but it stays in their as im the only one to really use it. I love it and it works perfectly with CS3, and my Aiptek Tablet. Safari the Mac Web Browser has been voted the best Flash Gaming and Flash Application Browser, it has the power and memory needed for and specially designed for multimedia, it is a little pricey but well worth it. Umm yeah so a if you wanted a laptop go for the iBook in white (cheaper than black), or even the iBook Air. If your looking for a PC go for the iMac.

Yeah, the touch-pad mouse is quite good, but I tend to use the button clickers underneath instead of the tapping. The only problem with it is if it gets small bits of dirt under the edges, the mouse then continues to have a fit on-screen disrupting whatever you're doing and flings your mouse to the top of the screen. Thats the worse problem, and the fact that i've clicked so much i've worn through the left-clicker button underneath the touch-pad so that it wiggles in its hole. In my eyes its good, a space saver and time saver (Dumb installers)

I would suggest a Dell. Although I use a Siemens myself. But i dont need to do much, just Adobe Programs and some CD-based-games. But im not the biggest hardware expert, software is my expertise ;]

Dell, but I recommend a PC not a Laptop. Those you can upgrade your hardware. Laptop? If you want to "upgrade it", you'll need to go buy a brand new one. Also, don't get Macs if you want to play games. They were refurbished in the 80's/90's to focus more on everything else but gaming because it was aimed for work and such. So anything not by Apple if you plan on playing games.
